Genetically modified brinjals has got a great media attention in last few weeks. They may or may may not agree with your taste buds but they had created a big news splash. The environmental organisations and public interest groups have been actively protesting against the modified version of brinjal. What actually are the issues with the GM food. GM foods are cost effective as they are "engineered" to resist pest and prosper under non optimal conditions.
